Physical Sciences Divisional Committee

The Physical Sciences Divisional Committee recommends promotion or appointment with tenure and selects Hilldale Award recipients and Hilldale Lecture speakers.

The Physical Sciences Divisional Committee meetings are held during the academic year on Thursdays, starting at 1:15 p.m.

All materials for a tenure case must be received by noon on the deadline preceding each meeting. If more cases are submitted than can be accommodated at a particular meeting, the divisional committee chair will consider factors such as reviewer availability and the urgency of the decision when determining which cases to postpone for review at a future meeting.
