Post-Tenure Review
The post-tenure review process is outlined in Faculty Policies and Procedures 7.17. Departments must have written criteria and procedures for post-tenure review which align with the campus policy. Post-tenure reviews are required every five years.
Promotion to Professor
The promotion from associate professor to professor process is outlined in Faculty Policies and Procedures 7.16. Departments must have written policies for promotion to the rank of professor which align with the campus policy and any existing school/college policy. Promotion from associate professor to professor may happen at any time and is not required.
