UW-Madison’s New Faculty Welcome, Tenure Workshops, and Reflecting on the First Year lunch connect tenure-track faculty with campus leaders and fellow newcomers, foster a sense of community, and provide opportunities to learn about key policies, initiatives, programs, and resources that support career success.
The Faculty Networking Lunch Series introduces newcomers to colleagues who share similar personal and professional experiences and helps continuing faculty stay connected with peers across campus.
Faculty & Staff Professional Development gatherings foster meaningful connections and address a variety of topics such as research, teaching, community engagement, mentoring, and belonging.
The Women, Trans, & Non-Binary Faculty Mentoring Program matches tenure-track faculty with senior colleagues who share similar interests but remain at arm’s length from the promotion and tenure process. Faculty appointed with tenure may participate in a year-long match to build connections at UW-Madison. Program events are open to all.
